2020AVE gifts for moi

Happy birthday to me! I got myself these gorgeous jeweled flats I've been eyeing and matte faux leather leggings from 2020AVE.

If you haven't checked out this LA online shop, you are missing out! Follow them at @2020AVE too. So glad they followed me on twitter or else I might never have found this sweet site.

OOTD - Luck changing

It seems my luck has been changing. Sicky germs seem to be gone. Gals like to nap at the same time. Overwhelmed feeling is going away. Justin Bieber's acoustic album is out. White Collar was good. Hooray! Happy Wednesday y'all!

OCAPICA fundraiser at Veggie Grill - 01/30

My favorite non profit, Orange County Asian Pacific Islander Community Alliance, is having a fundraiser at Veggie Grill at Irvine Spectrum. If you are in the Orange County area, drop by between 5pm to 9pm and bring this flyer or mention OCAPICA to the cashier. 50% of food and drink purchases will go to OCAPICA.

OOTD - Dallas returns

Yesterday was the return of Dallas on TNT. Yay! I'm interested to see how they portray Larry Hagman this season. How sad that he passed away recently. I loved him on the old Dallas in the 80's and this new remake.

I'm wearing Love on a hanger sweater, Old Navy tank and Hollister jeggings. Shoes are Target moccasins. Bracelets are from Bella vi. Nails are Essie carry on.

OOTD - SAG fashion

Did you catch the SAG awards? I missed Bradley Cooper speaking French. Twitter folks were going crazy. Tina Fey was talking about Mean Girls the Musical. Could you imagine? That would be so fetch! Sofia looked beautiful in Donna Karan.

I'm wearing a LOFT cardigan (link), James Perse tank (link), William Rast for Target jeans (similar), and Sam Edelman Trina sandals (link). Bracelets are from Bella Vi.

OOTD - graffiti green

These pants remind me of graffiti. Speaking of graffiti, my little one has taken an interest on coloring the walls. Have any tips to get rid of that?

I'm wearing Fire Los Angeles pants (similar), Martin + Osa cowl neck shirt (similar) and Go Jane wedge sneakers (similar). Cardigan is from Banana Republic. Bracelets are from Bella Vi.

LOFT sale

Hey Orange County peeps, be sure to visit the LOFT sale at South Coast Plaza. The store is going out of business so there's many deals to be had. Check out my fitting room. I wish the corduroys fit me well, but since being sick I lost weight (yay!) so I don't even know what size I am anymore (happy problem, I know!). A lot of items were 50 to 60 percent off along with $10.88 items.

I ended up getting a lace looking cardigan, and striped tee that was totally marked down. Go me! My winter wardrobe is lacking so hopefully these pieces help.

OOTD - Exhausted shopaholic

Man, my mom and I can shop! We were at South Coast forever with the gals yesterday and scored so many good sales at Sur La Table and LOFT. Stay tuned for my LOFT post!

I'm wearing Uniqlo corduroys (similar), Old Navy tee (similar), no name scarf, and Go Jane wedge sneakers (similar). Bracelets are from Bella Vi Boutique.

OOTD - Friday fun

Happy Friday! Got any fun plans for the weekend? I think I want to resume Zumba or hot yoga again now that the sicky germs are going away. Alleluia!

I'm wearing a Love on A Hanger tee (similar), no name scarf and Madewell blue cords (similar). Shoes are Go Jane wedge sneakers (similar). Bracelets are from Bella Vi boutique and no Rest for Bridget.

OOTD - Monochromatic green

My hubby asked me if it was St. Patrick's Day. Uh hello, hasn't he heard of monochromatic style? Lucky Magazine had a neat article on tone on tone outfits in this month's issue too.

I'm wearing an Old Navy shirt (similar), Zara green jeans (similar), and Go Jane wedge sneakers (similar). Bracelets are from Madewell and No Rest for Bridget.

I thought it was cute that my mom wore her wedge sneakers to lunch too. I'm going to have to " borrow " her floral pants one day.

OOTD - Skirt treasure

Don't you love when you find something in your closet? That's how I felt when I found this yellow and lavender skirt.

I'm wearing a H&M skirt (similar), Old Navy tank (similar), and Sam Edelman Trina shoes (link). Bracelets are from TJ Maxx and No Rest for Bridget.

Here are some shots from Laguna beach yesterday. Looks like Hawaii, huh? Aloha!

OOTD - TV addict

Such good TV on last night! The Carrie Diaries, 90210, and Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Thank goodness for the DVR.

I'm wearing a Graniph Lady F dress from Japan (similar), Toms shoes (link), and Target fedora (similar). Bracelets are from No Rest for Bridget and Madewell.

OOTD - Sunny skirt

Happy Martin Luther King Day! I'm impressed by today's inauguration of everyone uniting - regular people, past Presidents, Congress, Senate, and celebs. If only we can be united like that always.

I'm wearing a James Perse tank (link), H&M skirt (similar) and Zara flats (gifted from a friend!, similar). Bracelets are No Rest for Bridget and Madewell.

Body Shop picks

I fell in love with Body Shop since discovering their store in London back in high school. It was way before their stores were in the US. I'm so glad I can find their stuff anywhere. When I say anywhere, I mean in the Denver airport terminal as I waited for a Southwest flight. It's like that airport has a mini-mall inside it.
My picks from my recent shopping trip there included these four items. They had a cool buy 3, get 1 free special at the time.

Blush - It reminds me of a Benefit blush with a highlighter and coral color. (Not pictured)

Satsuma body butter - I loved this scent when I was preggo with my first baby and still love the smell afterwards. It's such an uplifting scent.

Vitamin E illuminating moisture cream - One time, the store ran out of my regular moisturizer and had this illuminating one. It has a slight pink sheen and perfect to give me some color.

Hair butter - I haven't tried this yet, but got it since my hair misbehaves sometimes. I need to figure out …

OOTD - Bold coral

I think I believe in Jeannie Mai's wearapy. This bright monochromatic coral made me feel confident, more than usual. I stood up for myself when someone was rude to me and was even a little catty. Ha! As my previous tweet said, If you are rude to me, I'll be ten times as rude.

I'm wearing an Express coral top (link), H&M coral jeans (similar), and Go Jane wedge sneakers (similar). Bracelets are from SPARKL and No Rest for Bridget.

The weather was absolutely amazing today at 75 degrees, that I even had to change to shorts after this outfit because it was so warm. Cali girl problems, I know.

Happy birthday to my dear hubby. Surprise birthday dinners are the best, especially when glutten free cupcakes are involved.
