OOTD - Birthday party hopping

The other weekend, we went birthday party hopping. First it was celebrating my family's March birthdays and then a birthday party for my daughter's friend.

I wore this cute look and styled my new Trixxi Girl top. What do you think?

Heavenly Couture romper & shorts

I went to Laguna Beach last week and went to one of my favorite boutiques - Heavenly Couture. I wanted to get some spring staples I can put into rotation and fell in love with this paisley romper and beige shorts.
Stay tuned for some new outfits !

OOTD - Leather and denim

Last Sunday funday, I mixed textures of denim , leopard and faux leather for a relaxed look. We went to my sister in law's house for dinner but not before a stop at Toys R Us. I loved playing in the bike aisle and if you follow my snapchat you saw me trying the skateboard and scooter.

Beautiful empties

I'm copying Lucky Magazine Editor Eva Chen's beautiful empties post and doing my first beauty post on some products I just finished.

The top row includes Tatcha camelia cleansing oil and Kiehl's Super Fluid sunscreen. The bottom row includes Sweet Almond skin care oil, Maybelline Mega Plush mascara, Burt's Bee's Even Tone Moisturizing Cream, and Honest Company Organic Body Oil.

My mini reviews are as follows:
Tatcha Camelia Cleansing Oil - this was a part of a gift set that introduced me to cleansing with oil and rice powder cleanser afterward. I loved how double cleansing made my skin feel so clean.

Kiehl's Super Fluid sunscreen  - this is a light sunscreen that you put on top of your moisturizer and before your primer and foundation. Sunscreen is a must in sunny Southern California.

Maybelline Mega Plush mascara - I like how this mascara is volumizing but I didn't like that it smears. It's a good drugstore mascara though.

OOTD - Caitlin's women's brunch

First off, happy birthday to my momma!

A few weekends ago, my friend and Serene Sky model Caitlin invited me to a women's brunch. It was such a fun morning spending it with women in the different fields from fashion to education.

The food Caitlin made was all amazing. I'm always a sucker for brunch  especially cheese plates, salmon crostinis, mimosas, and mini pancakes.

OOTD - Hanging around

I finally got to wear these burgundy jeans once before washing them and the dye messed them up and ruined them. Le sigh.

San Diego: #OOTD : The Water is waiting

One awesome thing about California weather is the weather is always great. When we went to San Diego last month, it was kinda chilly but still perfect pool weather. I forgot my bikini top but thank goodness for Forever 21 at Horton Plaza because I bought a cute top to go with my LSpace bikini bottoms. I love lounging at the pool with a drink. It's so relaxing!

San Diego: Tajima Ramen

Oops, I forgot I had two more San Diego posts to post. If you are ever in San Diego Hillcrest area, Tajima Ramen is the place to go. We found this cute Japanese restaurant off Yelp and knew the line outside meant it would be good. The tonkatsu and Tajima ramen was amazing along with gyozoa and pork fried rice. The service was great too.

 Definitely check this spot out!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hoping hubby makes his yummy corned beef and cabbage tonight. Yum!

OOTD - Butterfly wings

Happy Wednesday! Hope you enjoyed all my San Diego posts from my little vacation. I can't wait until my next vacay.

Today's outfit focuses on this top with butterfly wings. I love this colorful mosaic top. It's so springy.

Happy birthday to my little brother today. Yay!

San Diego: Zia's Bistro in Little Italy

I love Little Italy in San Diego and I love carbs. We found a new restaurant on our last San Diego vacation called Zia's Bistro. I decided on the chicken picatta, calamari, and hubby got the pasta dish with brocolli and garlic.

The restaurant is so cozy with a wine bar and open windows. We sat next to an open window facing a trickling water fountain.

San Diego: OOTD: Balboa Park

At my little San Diego staycation, we visited my favorite spot - Balboa Park. I wore Serene Sky for this fun day. If you ever visit San Diego, you have to visit this park for the gorgeous architecture and gardens.

San Diego: OOTD: Light & breezy shades

The last Who What Wear challenge also happened to be Valentine's Day. Here is my idea of light and breezy shades. Some cute florals, lace and strappy heels for dinner out at the Gaslamp District. One of these days I want to ride those little bikes that the tourists jump into. Haha!

San Diego: OOTD - Stay gold

Stay gold is my favorite Stevie Wonder song.

For an afternoon traveling up to San Diego over President's Day weekend, I needed something comfortable for the journey so thought of this stay gold outfit.

Oh, how I miss San Diego. This Mariott is my favorite hotel ever. I can't wait to go back!

OOTD - Non conservative cardigan

Who What Wear's style challenge last month was to make a cardigan non conservative by just wearing a bra. I was too shy to do that so did a cami to achieve the look.

OOTD - Structured coat & distressed jeans

For Who What Wear's style challenge, it was to pair a structured coat with distressed jeans. It was perfect weather when we went to this park in OC that looked like a forest. I loved it! We even saw a horse gallop by.

OOTD - Knit on knit

Happy rainy Monday! How are you? I had a fun weekend of attending OC Fashion Week to see my friend Kimberly Luu present her collection styled with Serene Sky jewelry. Yay! Can't wait to share the pictures.

As part of Who What Wear's style challenge of knit on knit, I decided on this outfit. I think I need more knit pieces in my life?
