Shen Sen Gumi yakitori

I finally tried Shen Sen Gumi yakitori in Fountain Valley with my family. This restaurant is such a cute place where you can get skewers of meat and veggies along with salads and other things for  a good price.

We ordered pork belly, skirt steak, okra, enoki covered pork belly, and miso pork belly. The service at Shen Sen Gumi was really good too and really attentive. I highly recommend going to this high energy restaurant. It's so fun here!

OOTD - Mesa nights

It's Friday & that means DJ Sandok is spinning at Mesa . See you there (maybe!)

A few weeks ago , I met up with my blogger babe Kimberly at Mesa. She sipped black orchid cocktail while I got my favorite Moscow Mule. It was so fun hanging out - I'm going to miss her when she's on vacation .

OOTD - LA adventures

Did you catch my blog post on UCLA Hammer Museum? Some of my favorite exhibits are gone, but it still is a good place to visit.

For my latest LA adventure going to this awesome museum, I decided to wear something chic for lalaland. I call this polished yet stylish.

According To Kimberly x The Denim Lab Blogger Event

A few weeks ago on a rainy night, I attended my friend Kimberly's The Denim Lab Blogger Event. It was a fun night with fellow Orange County blogger friends. It was different from other events and interactive. The owners of The Denim Lab educated us on their business model and encouraged us to try denim we liked for a contest on best jeans. I have been loving distressed styles lately, so tried these Citizen of Humanity jeans. I loved the store's decor with vintage license plates and clocks on the walls with jeans on display.

Here's some fun pictures from the event and be sure to check out The Denim Lab at The District!

UCLA Hammer Museum

Yesterday, I had a LA adventure with my mom and it was so fun. We went to the UCLA Hammer Museum which happens to be free admission.
Today is the last day of the Provocations: The Architecture and Design of Heatherwick Studio exhibit. I learned that the Heatherwick Studio is responsible for amazing architectural projects in the US, UK, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, South Africa and China. I have included my favorites below.
Spun chairs were so much fun to play in. Check my Instagram to see me try it out.
Longchamp collaborated with the Heatherwick Studio to create these zipper handbags. So gorgeous! This UK Pavillon is amazing and looks like a koosh ball. It sure makes me itchy though. This Hong Kong building is made of little boxes. I love the texture of the exterior. A garden over the Thames River. How pretty bringing nature into architecture! A storefront put these optical threads to give some structure to a storefront. A UK store display and architecture display for British Fashion …

OOTD - Movie date

I rarely have dates with hubby but when I do we like going to the movie or going to brunch or dinner. We are die hard Fast & The Furious fans so had to see Furious 7. The movie was great and we loved how they treated Paul Walker's character in the movie.

What do I wear for a lunch and shopping date with my sister from Colorado? Something comfy and cute, of course.
The Californian croissant sandwich and French Onion soup from Vie De France is so bomb and we've been eating it since high school. We got so much stuff at Zara too. Yay!
