OOTD - Play

Happy Monday! Last Friday, we spent the night at my sister in law's house after thanksgiving. We decided to take the family to the local park. I love going to the park because it reminds me to slow down and play. The crisp fall air is so refreshing too.

Takeaway: don't forget to play outside!

Happy Thankgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! My parents' have this sign hanging up in their garden and whenever I see it, it reminds me that there is indeed something to thankful for. In the midst of Paris attacks, Turkey shooting down Russia's jet, and the Syrian refugee crisis, the world can be a scary place.

I try to think about the world on a personal level. I am grateful for a roof over my head, food on the table, loving family, and wonderful friends. I try to cherish the little things and be the best person I can be.  Even though the world can feel like it is in turmoil, it is up to us to celebrate life and  spread kindness.

I wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving week. Let us all spread positivity and understanding in this world.

So long to the October heat wave and hello to the chilly Fall weather. I love wearing scarves in the Fall and Winter months. It's a cute way to look stylish and stay warm. I am digging this light scarf I was gifted from the Outlets of Orange blogger series. It's so chic and can be styled so many ways.

LA: Louis Vuitton #LVSeries2

It's Throwback Thursday so why not post about the Louis Vuitton LVSeries 2 I saw in Hollywood last winter with my sister Hanh and blogger babe Amanda. We attended on the last day of the exhibit so experienced a long  line and rainfall while waiting to enter the pop up museum.

Through different rooms created, guests were able to view influences and inspirations for the Louis Vuitton line - specifically the Spring 2015 Women's Ready To Wear Collection. Through 3D art and video demos, guests can explore the creative process behind the collection. In an all white room, previews of the actual Louis Vuitton products were on display for guests to take photos of. The ending room showcased the fashion show experience from the high paced behind the scenes set where models are getting hair and make up and finalizing looks to the models walking on the actual runway.

It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We walked away with unique Louis Vuitton stickers and posters highlightin…

Anepalco's Cafe

I love brunch , as you can tell from my blog and Instagram. My girlfriends and I like to meet up for brunch when we can. We decided to try a spot in Orange called Anepalco's Cafe. It's such a cute mom & pop place with limited parking.

Since there were four of us, we decided to order family style. From top to bottom in the first photo:

We sipped on sparkling water and nipped on light bites as we browsed and shopped  Madewell's newest fall collection. I had to wear their Fedora all night and linked my favorites below.

OOTD - Wedding weekend

Hooray for the weekend! Two weeks ago, we celebrated our good friends Ray & Jenn getting married. It was such a wonderful wedding and celebration with my hubby being best man and our Colorado friends flying in for the happy occasion.

I wanted to share some outfits I wore for the wedding weekend, from a  maxi dress for the ceremony, lace dress for the reception, and romper for brunch.

Some helpful tips when you're a wedding guest:
Don't break in shoes when going to a wedding. Always have comfortable shoes for dancing. If spending the night at a hotel, be sure to pack flats after wearing heels all night.
