White Rabbit & cupcake a gogo

Since becoming a mom, gone are the days of two hour meals at new restaurants. I now look forward to trying gourmet food trucks. Luckily, my workplace plans food trucks to come every week. On Thursday, I tried white rabbit - a Filipino food truck. For $9, I got a chicken adobo rice bowl and lumpia. Yum! If I wasn't saving my cash for a cupcake, I'd try their ube macaroons. I inhaled the chicken adobo so hence no picture. The lumpia was crispy and perfect. For $4, I got a huge moist delicious lemon cupcake from cupcakes a gogo. Again, no picture due to immediate consumption. The packaging was way cute though. I'm glad I had a good cupcake after eating mediocre ones lately. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Life Reflexology

My mom and I have been treating ourselves to $20 full body Reflexology massages in Westminster on a monthly basis. This spot on brookhurst and McFadden has a relaxing ambiance with water fountains flowing and relaxing spa music playing. You wouldn't even realize you're in a room with ten plus people. My last masseuse was great. I fell asleep during the foot massage. He didn't stop til he got the knots on my neck. It must be from my backpack. We'll definitely be back next month to treat ourselves again. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Target designer dresses

I was reading Racked LA recently. They will be bringing back designer dresses on March 13 in stores and online. Thaikoon will be one of the designers coming back. I remember getting a dress from that line a few birthdays ago. Can't wait to see what else will be available. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Pacific Whey cupcakes

Note to self: don't get the 50 percent off cupcakes at Pacific Whey after five pm. I first tried it and thought the cupcakes were dry. I tried them a second time to give them a second chance. Still dry. It's so sad because I tried their chocolate cupcake before and it was good. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

CB2 Darjeeling Table

My hubby and I have been sofa shopping forever. We decided on a sectional at Crate and Barrel finally. Next up is a dining table. We really like the CB2 Darjeeling one but wish the legs were baby friendly. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

No Jodas Kitchen

A Cuban food truck came to my work last Thursday. I love Cuban food and definitely had to try. I ordered crunchy salted plantains, potato balls and a pork sandwich. I was really into the plantains and potato ball but found the sandwich to be dry. Next time, I'll order the rice bowl I saw everyone getting. It was meat, rice, beans and plantains for $8. Yum! I can't wAit til I see this truck again. :) - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Juppy baby walking aid

My girlfriend swears by this product and said it helped her son walk by 12 1/2 months. I think the concept is cute and definitely less strain on parent's backs. More info: Walking aid - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

For Goodness Cake

There's a new cupcake place I tried at Bella Terra in Huntington Beach. Their presentation was different and only showed one cupcake flavor for display purposes. I got two flavors - piña colada and raspberry kiss. The cake in itself was good but buttercream icing was a little stiff. All in all, I thought the cupcake was okay and may not visit again. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Moisturizing shampoo

I've been on the hunt for a new moisturizing shampoo after using Avalon'a and Phyto. I got two great recommendations from girlfriends: -Kiehl's superbly argan shampoo -Ojon's Will blog again on what I'll try. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Man, I'm still hurting from my P90X workout I did with my brother on Saturday. I did the Legs and Back cd, though I skipped the pull ups and did sit ups instead. I'm a big fan of P90X yoga and ab workouts too. If you're looking for a workout that kicks your butt (literally), I definitely recommend this home workout! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

All Saints Company

I went to Santa Monica the other week with hubby. Ran into this store called All Saints company. Wish I saw my size in jeans as they had a great sale. The clothing is a mix of punk and leather as my hubby describes it. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Jeans for petites

Ran into this post on Best jeans for petites . Some choices are a little pricey, but I always hear raves about urban outfitters bdg jeans. My fellow shorty girlfriend loves the jeans at American Eagle. I'll have to check them out sometime. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Beauty brands online

There are two beauty brands I love that are available only online. Biotherm used to be available at Macy's years ago. I love their Hydro Detox serum that feels like instant moisture on your skin. Their Age Fitness moisturizer is also great. It uses olive extract to fight aging. Check out their full line of Moisturizers . Shu Uemera is another brand I like. I love their cleansing oils when I don't feel lazy at night. You squirt a drop on your palms, mix it together, and rub on your face. You rinse a few times and voilà. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Corepower Yoga

My latest workout obsession is Hot Power Fusion at Corepower Yoga in Huntington Beach. In this hot yoga class, you do sun salutations and Hatha yoga poses. It's a great Saturday 8am morning class minus the sweaty guy in the back. More info: Corepower Yoga - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
