I have been meaning to try Bruxie since it opened months ago. I finally did last Tuesday with bebe. I lucked out too cuz she napped while I was there so I got some me time. I got to enjoy my s'mores waffle and hot chocolate. Yum yum! Look how decadent that is. I even spilled some on my jeans but it was worth it. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Food Trucks @ocfair

Last Thursday, baby girl and I scoped out the food trucks at the OC fairgrounds. There were tons of choices but I decided on piaggino for the argintinean steak and tofu tacos, fry truck for fries, and bakery truck for cupcakes. Everything was divine! The steak and tofu tacos for $5 were small but perfect size for me and my baby gal. Can never go wrong with Chimichurri sauce. The garlic mayo with my fries was yummy. Mini size of natural cut fries was only $3. I got the red velvet and vanilla raspberry. Yum! There was cream cheese frosting on both. Very moist cake. $3 each. We'll def return to the food trucks. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Incheonwon BBQ house

My other obsession is pigging out at Incheonwon BBQ house. This Garden grove Korean restaurant is spacious, has great service and serves awesome food. My mom and I usually order the short ribs, spicy pork that comes with tofu soup. With all the side dishes, it definitely fills you up. I love that they give me beef broth soup with potato for baby gal. I put a Lil rice and Ta Dow instant baby food. This place rocks! Mother's Day gift ideas

Yeah, I should have posted this days ago, but better late than never. I regularly watch the Nate Berkus show and he had a great idea for Mother's Day gifts. Idea #1 - write a letter of recent memories to your mom and place in a decorative folder. Then, write another letter to your mom next year. Then, you'll have a memorable gift for your mom each year. Idea #2 - get vintage looking frames from a flea market or discount store. Place black and white photos of you, your mom, grandma, and daughter to show different generations. Aren't those cool? I'll definitely have to try this next year.

Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

I decided to try a drugstore brand for gel eyeliner and really like the Maybelline Gel Eyeliner in blackest black. It gives me the liquid eyeliner look and lasts all day. I love that it's so easy to apply too with a nifty little brush. I definitely recommend this $9 purchase if you want some new eyeliner. More info: Maybelline Gel Eyeliner -

Cobra phone tag

My brother sent me a link to the Cobra phone tag . I think it's a hint I should get it, since I'm always misplacing my phone around the house. I actually just forgot it again at my mom's couch when I Thought it was in her room. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Haute Cakes Cafe

Last Wednesday, the baby, mom And I tried Haute Cakes cafe in Newport Beach. I had the oatmeal blueberry pancakes and she had the turkey sandwich on multigrain bread. I got their cupcake to go. The display didn't state what flavor but my taste buds say it's carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and walnuts. Yum! The cake was moist and frosting was just right. Winner, as a fired actor would say. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
