Montreal: rocky road brownies

I miss the rocky road brownies I had at java u cafe and Starbucks. How come I don't see these in the states? Look how yum they are. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

I had a little makeover when I was in Montreal. Delta lost our luggage so no makeup or beauty product the whole trip. I decided to splurge on Chanel foundation and eyeshadow. The vitalumiere line does really refresh your face. A must for a tired on the go mom like me! Their eyeshadow is the best. Doesn't crease and is long lasting. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Montreal: Notre Dame

This is another example of a beautiful Cathedral. It was my first time attending a French speaking mass. The choir and organ was a nice addition to the mood of the mass. I love going to cathedrals where you can see history before your very eyes. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Montreal: St. Joseph

We visited the beautiful St. Joseph cathedral several weeks ago. Father Andre had a vision to have a church dedicated to St. Joseph. My pictures do not capture the immense beauty of this place. The architecture, details and thought put into this plAce can really be seen. This church is a must see if you go to Montreal. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Montreal: poutine

We tried a native Canadian dish called poutine. What is it exactly? Fries with gravy and cheese poured on top. I admit it was Kinda funky when I tried it at first, then I kept stealing some from my hubby. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Montreal: underground city food court

If you ever want to see the grand daddy of all food courts, you must go to Montreal's underground city. This mall connects commuters to train stations plus has the best selection of casual dining around. I loved seeing everyone speak French too. When we were there, hubby and baby got a 3 curry meal from tandoori While I got a beef plate from Kimchi. Mmm, Mmm, good! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Pretend you are in Montreal with me. It's cold and rainy. What do the chic French Canadians wear on their feet to keep warm? Hunter wellies of course. I spotted these at a department store. If I remember correctly, they are about $150 Canadian. Pretty cute huh? - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Montreal: Brit & Chips

Our first night in Montreal was spent grabbing dinner at Brit & chips in Old Montreal. This place was delicious. You can never go wrong with fried food. The authentic British meal was really good that I went here a second time during my visit. Front door Steak and veggie pie Shrimp and Chips Cod fish and chips Cool ketchup packet Ingredients of my lemonade - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Vichy products

When I was in Montreal last week, we lost our luggage so I was forced to buy beauty products. The salesman at A local drugstore suggested Vichy moisturizer with SPF and foaming face wash. I must say, I like this French line. My face feels super clean after washing it and soft after using the moisturizer. You should check it if you run into this beauty line. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Paris Street style

My parents just came back from Europe for their anniversary trip. My mom kept raving about the Paris street fashion she saw. I wish she took pictures, but she said everyone dressed up and ladies always wear scarfs (even toddlers). Men dressed up too in suits and designer fashion. Lucky magazine just posted this and I wonder if it's what my mom saw. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

eos lip balm

I bought a new lip balm at Ulta this week. It's really cool. You open it up and it's shaped like a ball so makes it a snap to put on your lips. I got the lemon SPF 15 flavor. Not too shabby for under $4, huh? - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
