If I knew it would be hot today, I would probably be wearing a dress. The forecast said it would be 73 degrees but it felt more like 80 degrees.
I'm wearing an H&M top, Motherhood skinny jeans, and Tahari flats.
Happy birthday to me! Before heading to dinner tonight, I celebrated by getting a free ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins since I'm part of their birthday club . The winter white chocolate was delish. You can't beat white chocolate, chocolate covered cherries, and cherry syrup. It's like a lighter version of Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. Yum!
It’s been about a month since my family and I survived a house fire. It's been a roller coaster of ups and downs. I feel optimistic and very thankful to survive and recover from my injuries. We have been blessed by family, friends, colleagues, and the community for the generosity and support we have received. Our firefighters told me most fires occur in the kitchen or bedroom, either started by electrical or candle. I wanted to share some tips to prevent house fires: Don't light candles Be trained w fire extinguishers Have 2 exits out of house Have an emergency fire escape plan Call 911 ASAP Test fire alarms Have fire extinguishers in kitchen and bedroom Resources : https://www.redcross.org/get-help/how-to-prepare-for-emergencies/types-of-emergencies/fire.html https://www.ocfa.org/SafetyPrograms/FireSafety.aspx https://www.lafd.org/safety/fire-safety

They kept inquiring where was I from & I said I’m from California. I complained to the group chaperone and was quickly switched to a more welcoming home stay family and able to have a better experience. Denver - I was on a date with my boyfriend/now husband waiting for our table at a restaurant. I noticed subtle racist Behavior when a white couple who came in after us was seated first. I brought it up to my boyfriend and he says don’t worry about it and we’ll get seated first. This restaurant is first come, first serve. In my mind, it made me sad that this was dismissed as normal behavior. Irvine - Police officers thoug
