The Curious Palate

The family and I trekked to LA last Saturday and walked around Santa Monica 3rd Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place. For dinner, hubby wanted to try The Curious Palate which is in The Market at Santa Monica Place. This cozy hipster eatery had a huge menu of gourmet food of salads, comfort food, sandwiches, and chicken wings.

To start, we had fried pickles. Interesting at first but delicious.

Hubby got the buttermilk chicken and fries. The ketchup was homemade and very tomatoe sauce tasting. Yum!

Toddler gal got the kid's pasta with cheese and butter. So simple, but tasty.

Mine was the 1/2 sandwich and salad. My pastrami reuben panini and chopped salad was light and perfect. The chopped salad had these awesome lima beans and was topped with feta cheese to give it that little pizazz.

This place had awesome food and kid friendly with awesome service. Definitely check it out!
