Nordstroms Rack me time

Last Friday, while my hubby and toddler napped, I snuck out with the baby for some me time. I knew the perfect place to go. Starbucks drive thru and Huntington Beach Nordstrom Rack. It was so nice when my baby napped so I could look at everything in the store. I found so many great things to try on. A record 12 items for me from Dalmatian jeans, tops, to blouses. It was "love at first sight" indeed. I ended up with so many cute things. Pictured below are green Dalmatian jeans for $20, Love on a Hanger white v neck for $7 (perfect for my colored denim), Splendid yellow striped tank for $19, and Lush button up blouse (perfect for leggings or jeans) for $10. Great finds don't you think? I should be a personal shopper or stylist. Ha! PS. @HB_Rack tweeted me what am I loving for fall. I answered: "For fall, I'm loving oxblood anything, ankle and tall boots, sneaker wedges, mid rise jeans, and polka dots." - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

OOTD - Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Hope everyone has a safe time trick or treating tonight. I can't wait to show you my costume. I'm wearing H&M orange shorts, Old Navy tank, and Franco Sarto sandals. Bracelets are Gap, gift from a friend and SPARKL. PS. I've been praying for those affected by Sandy. My nephew emailed an update yesterday morning:"the weather seems to have calmed alot. Still a bit rainy and windy, but yesterday night was the peak. I have power and water, but subway systems look pretty messed up from flooding. Pretty much all of downtown manhattan is without power too."

Daiso eye candy

Last weekend, hubby, nephew and I went to Daiso Japan to kill time while the gals napped with my sister in law. If you haven't heard of Daiso, imagine a 99 cent store of Japanese goods except everything is $1.50 each. If you are ever in the Irvine area, definitely check this spot out! Here's a sample of things I saw: Chopstick holders Perfect masks for Halloween Where were these erasers when I was in school? Awesome loofah for the shower Facial massage anyone? Hair accessories galore Perfect item to hold up hair ties (hubby said I couldn't get it) Fork holder for your lunchbox or purse Stainless steel soap to rub out funky odors from your hand. You know that funky seafood smell after you eat. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Jewelry sites

As you know, I love my jewelry from arm candy, rings to necklaces. No earrings really. I found two sites I've been browsing and wanted to share. Capwell - I saw lots of cute and affordable pieces such as their crystal pave ring and delicate chain and star layering bracelet. Jetworthy - This is a great concept where you have a monthly subscription to borrow jewelry. You can get a bracelet, necklace, earrings to borrow and then return it to get something else. Items are sanitized before each use.

OOTD - Black and white

I love the simpleness of black and white. Don't you? I'm wearing a Banana Republic ikat tank, Miss Posh shorts, and Webster Miami flats. Bracelets are from Madewell and New Mexico.

OOTD - Who gives a hoot

Who gives a hoot? Haha. What's up with this hot/cold weather in Cali? It's so hard to plan an outfit.  I'm wearing an owl long sleeve from a boutique in the Philippines, Levi's jeans and Webster Miami for Target flats. Bracelets are from New Mexico.

Things I've been eyeing

I have been eyeing a few things lately. Let's see what I get... Naly Jewels lip bracelet - I first saw this on Jeannie Mai's instagram and immediately fell in love with it. I even messaged the seller on Etsy. Such a cute bracelet for $18. Black wedge sneakers - I was searching these sneakers and found a steal on GoJane. I better hurry while they have their sneaker sale. $18 wedge sneakers, oh my! Wedela firming night cream - I have been using this sample from Birchbox and totally running out. I love that it uses pomegranate and seems to firm up my skin. Medical bracelet - I love this stylish Chan Luu-style bracelet. Who knew announcing something so vital could be so chic? Petunia diaper bag - My JuJuBe diaper bag has lost its appeal. My girlfriend has the blue satchel and I secretly want to steal hers. This plum color is nice.

OOTD - Uniqlo baby

I heard Uniqlo is going to have an e commerce store. Whoo hoo! This deserves a twirl outside. I'm wearing a Uniqlo sweater top, Brass Plum leggings, Webster Miami for Target flats. Bracelets are gift from a friend and Goodywear hair bands. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Chocolate ding dong

Yes, this Chocolate ding dong is as good as it looks! You must check out Hautte Cakes Cafe in Newport Beach for their kale and beet salad plus amazing bakery items. As a healthy food and dessert lover, I highly recommend this place. - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

OOTD - Feeling tribal

These pants look very tribal. I got them on my recent trip to San Francisco and finally can wear them now that the weather cooled down. Hooray! BTW, Zumba class rocked. My favorite move has to be the washing mashine from the Selena movie. I'm wearing H&M printed pants, Old Navy tank, and Tacori flats. Necklace is from Forever 21.

Santa Fe: landscape

The landscape of Santa Fe was so picturesque. I loved the sweeping vistas, fluffy white clouds, greenery from the Pecos forest. Here are some scenic shots to enjoy! - Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
