Denver: Aquarium

In my last post on Colorado, I thought I would write about the awesome Denver Aquarium located in downtown.

I love aquariums whether its Long Beach or Monterey in California, so I was very curious how a state in the middle of the country could pull off an aquarium. It is smaller than the California ones I'm used to and has one walkway for exhibits.
Overall, I thought they had a nice selection of California fish like mahi mahi, sea bass, trout, hammerhead sharks, grouper and sheep fish. I gotta say I was impressed by the turtles and random tiger they had. It was good educational entertainment. Admission is $17.99 for adults and under 2 set are free.
Do check it out if you visit Denver. Parking is cheap too and only $5 too.
