OC Fashion Week: Haute Couture Coral Castillo

On Saturday night, I attended a Haute Couture fashion show for OC Fashion Week at Dawson Cole Fine Art Gallery. Coral Castillo was the first designer to present. She is a graduate of the Art Institute of California - Orange County and  has won several awards for her designs.

The first dress that came out was this red number with lace cut out detailing and small train. Everyone immediately oohed and ahhed when the model walked down the outdoor runway where she walked past giant fountains. Every dress that came out was very intricate with sexy back detailing or front bodice detailing.

My favorite dress had to be the black halter like lace top with attached long mermaid-like skirt. It reminded me of a Monique Llullier design and felt very Spanish like.
