OC Fashion Week: Runway Expose Fashion Show recap

Day three of OC Fashion Week was at the Crowne Plaza in Costa Mesa.

The night started with Charles Kessler giving his tips on delivering happiness and  how to succeed in whatever endeavor you are doing. Like Kathryn Merino from Haute OC, I liked his quote of "Envision the world that you would like to live in and the universe will create it around you."

The next speaker was Sylvie de Gil who helps emerging designers from her studio in Downtown LA. She talked about supporting fashion bloggers and how bloggers are the first ones to report on fashion shows through Instagram.

Saving the best for last, the Runway Exposé fashion show highlighted emerging designers like Tatiana Zaykovskaya, Jessica Kircher, Mindcontrol Kreative, Eduardo Reategui, Noelle Nicole, and La Tasha Buccheit.

Based on the presentations I saw, I liked Eduardo Reategui, Noelle Nicole and La Tasha Buccheit's line the most. (Disclosure: I'm a bit biased with Noelle Nicole since she's my friend.)

Eduardo Reategui's show had a very Bohemian vibe. Though I couldn't pull it off, I can see my Free People and vintage wearing girlfriend Candice wearing something here.

Noelle's collection definitely evoked old Hollywood down to the makeup, hair, and thoughtful accessories to go along with her pieces. My favorite had to be her peplum dresses. I loved how the silk pieces had such movement too.

La Tasha's line seemed wearable. The slouchy fabrics looked confortable yet military chic. I can picture wearing her line in the fall weather holding a hot cup of Coffee Bean and walking in a Central Park.
