I first heard about Slapfish in Westways magazine. It turns out Slapfish is a local Huntington Beach restaurant that believes in sustainability by sourcing only eco-friendly and well managed seafood. My brother had also tried this restaurant with a friend and told me it was good, so I thought I would grab take out during Lent's Fish Friday a few weeks ago.

Here are some of our yummy choices:
Jumbo fish taco with avocado herb spread, pickled red onion, and lemon aioli

Daily fish with rice and seasoned vegetables

Lobster dip and chip

Fish and chips

Everything tasted fresh and tasty. My favorite had to be the daily fish and fish and chips. The fish was just so flaky and moist.

I can't wait to return to this new find in Huntington Beach. Be forewarned: the place gets packed so be patient if you have to wait. Beer drinkers will rejoice though since I spotted a bar with different ales on tap.
