The Lab Gastropub

I love my gourmet food trucks, but wasn't able to spot any at the Festival of Books last Sunday. I'm glad hubby spotted a restaurant just off the USC campus that we could walk to.

This Los Angeles restaurant was surprisingly good. I loved that there was an outdoor patio and the modern decor inside.

Our lunch consisted of The Lab burger, Warm Chicken Salad, and spicy edamame. The Lab burger had angus beef, bacon, cheese, garic aoili, carmelized onions, guacamole, lettuce and tomato. My mom and I shared this delicious burger and wanted more. The chicken in the Warm Chicken Salad could have used more seasoning, but  had mixed greens, feta cheese, and walnuts. The edamame was sauteed in hoison sauce and chili. It was good but a little messy.
