Book reviews

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. We had a great trunk show at Love Preview last night. Thank you for attending!

I wanted to share some  books I read (or tried to read )recently.

Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi - This teaches you the importance of building relationships and there's no such thing as networking. Everyone is your network.

Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh - I loved learning the history of Zappos from hearing the struggles of a start up to being successful by still respecting employees and cultivating company culture.

Starstruck by Lauren Conrad - Sadly, I didn't start the book since my library book was due. I'll have to lend it again but I'm a big fan of her books. It's like The Hills in print.

By Invitation Only by Alexis Maybank - This is a great book on how two friends had to learn to be business partners to start a flash sale phenomenon that was first popular in France. She changed the online shopping game. I only finished 3/4 of the book before I had to return my library book but I think I'll check it out again. You learn so much about online shopping and luxury goods. Great book!
