Influenster RoseVoxbox Review

I received this awesome Influenster RoseVoxBox recently. It had a great mix of beauty and treats in the pink box.

Here's my review:

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara - I tried it and love that it gives me a wide eyed voluminous look on my long lashes. My sister in law even asked if my lashes were real when I was wearing this



Dr. Scholl's For Her Cozy Cushion: This would be perfect for fall and winter boots to stay warm and cozy.








belVita crunchy Breakfast Biscuits: These were delicious and would make a great for those breakfasts on the go.



Kiss Graduation Polishes: I normally love my Sally Hansen nail lacquer strips but was super excitf to try this grey and black ombré nail polish kit. I did it for a wedding and it lasted a whole week. It was super away to apply. You put two coats of the silver polish, then the black at the tips and glitter midway. Voila! 



Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate truffles: unfortunately I don't have a picture because I devoured it right away. The chocolate was smooth and melted in my mouth.

Fire Safety Tips

It’s been about a month since my family and I survived a house fire. It's been a roller coaster of ups and downs. I feel optimistic and very thankful to survive and recover from my injuries. We have been blessed by family, friends, colleagues, and the community for the generosity and support we have received. Our firefighters told me most fires occur in the kitchen or bedroom, either started by electrical or candle. Racist Episodes

Upon reflecting on racism in my life, a few key episodes stick out in my mind. Denmark - My first encounter with racists was in high school when I stayed with a home stay family. They made me feel unwelcome for being an Asian American and kept saying they wish they got an American student, but in my mind I was an American study. They kept inquiring where was I from & I said I’m from California. I complained to the group chaperone and was quickly switched to a more welcoming home stay family and able to have a better experience. Denver - I was on a date with my boyfriend/now husband waiting for our table at a restaurant. I noticed subtle racist Behavior when a white couple who came in after us was seated first. I brought it up to my boyfriend and he says don’t worry about it and we’ll get seated first. This restaurant is first come, first serve.
