I can't live without my

....Boscia Tsubaki Oil Infused Exfoliating Powder. I have been a big fan of powder cleansers since previously using Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant and Tatcha's Rice Enzyme Powder.

I really like the Japanese brand Boscia. So far, I use their Tsubaki Oil as my nighttime oil and have tried their MakeUp BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil as a pre-cleanser.



What I love about this Tsubaki Oil Infused Exfoliating Powder is I use Shu Uemera's Cleansing Oil first and then finish with this one to really get all the make up off my face. I feel it helps me get that J-Lo skin glow and addresses sun spots I have on my skin through the gentle exfoliation it provides to provide break outs and minimize pores.

I highly recommend this product from Boscia.

Fire Safety Tips

It’s been about a month since my family and I survived a house fire. It's been a roller coaster of ups and downs. I feel optimistic and very thankful to survive and recover from my injuries. We have been blessed by family, friends, colleagues, and the community for the generosity and support we have received. Our firefighters told me most fires occur in the kitchen or bedroom, either started by electrical or candle. Racist Episodes

Upon reflecting on racism in my life, a few key episodes stick out in my mind. Denmark - My first encounter with racists was in high school when I stayed with a home stay family. They made me feel unwelcome for being an Asian American and kept saying they wish they got an American student, but in my mind I was an American study. They kept inquiring where was I from & I said I’m from California. I complained to the group chaperone and was quickly switched to a more welcoming home stay family and able to have a better experience. Denver - I was on a date with my boyfriend/now husband waiting for our table at a restaurant. I noticed subtle racist Behavior when a white couple who came in after us was seated first. I brought it up to my boyfriend and he says don’t worry about it and we’ll get seated first. This restaurant is first come, first serve.
