Outlets at San Clemente


Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I wanted to share my recent experience at the Outlets at San Clemente, Orange County's only coastal outlet shopping center.

Last month, Amanda from Feast.Fashion.Faves invited OC bloggers and influencers for a VIP night and shopping tour at the new Outlets at San Clemente. We were treated to appetizers and sangria in their VIP suite overlooking the festive Christmas tree below. It was a fun night checking out the Outlets at San Clemente with my fellow blogger babes.

More than 40 stores are open now at the first and only ocean facing outdoor outlet shipping and dining spot in Orange County. My favorite stores are there too: H&M,  Carter's, Converse, Papaya, Planet Beauty, Sunglass Hut, Vans, and White House | Black Market .

The Spanish architecture exterior is so pretty with grand archways and great tile work everywhere (particularly the bathroom).

The Outlets at San Clemente are open late for all your holiday shopping needs:
Sat 11/28 to Wed 12/23 10am to 9pm
Christmas Eve 12/24 10am to 6pm

Santa By The Sea is also available for complimentary photos too!

Fire Safety Tips

It’s been about a month since my family and I survived a house fire. It's been a roller coaster of ups and downs. I feel optimistic and very thankful to survive and recover from my injuries. We have been blessed by family, friends, colleagues, and the community for the generosity and support we have received. Our firefighters told me most fires occur in the kitchen or bedroom, either started by electrical or candle. Racist Episodes

Upon reflecting on racism in my life, a few key episodes stick out in my mind. Denmark - My first encounter with racists was in high school when I stayed with a home stay family. They made me feel unwelcome for being an Asian American and kept saying they wish they got an American student, but in my mind I was an American study. They kept inquiring where was I from & I said I’m from California. I complained to the group chaperone and was quickly switched to a more welcoming home stay family and able to have a better experience. Denver - I was on a date with my boyfriend/now husband waiting for our table at a restaurant. I noticed subtle racist Behavior when a white couple who came in after us was seated first. I brought it up to my boyfriend and he says don’t worry about it and we’ll get seated first. This restaurant is first come, first serve.
