Aji Peruvian Cuisine

Happy Labor Day weekend! Cheers to the weekend everyone!

A few weekends ago, I met up with my cousins in Long Beach for a catch up dinner. Thankfully my Yelp research led me to Aji Peruvian Cuisine since I was craving meat.

This LBC restaurant had a good vibe in the air and was filled with guests at dinner time. We ordered drinks right away before we ordered. If you like beer and wine, you won't be disappointed in their selection. I got a sangria to go along with the housemade chips.

I decided on the Lomita saltado. I loved the tender beef tenderloins . It was a flavorful meal complimented with fries and rice. Yes please!

My cousins got the seco de res. I had a bite of the short ribs and liked the savory salsa that was topped on it. I'll definitely have to get that entree next time.

For dessert, we couldn't decide so got  picarones which are yam dougnuts glazed in a guava type sauce. Definitely a unique spin on a doughnut. The flourless chocolate cake was great to go with the picarones too.

Definitely a cool spot to take friends or dates here. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!
