Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival

Last month, I had the pleasure of going to the Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival with fellow blogger babe Kimberly Luu of According To Kimberly . It was my first time covering the Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival . I was really excited to try local Orange County restaurants and sample wine from winemakers around the world. My favorite restaurant to try was Vaca, favorite dessert was Sweet Lady Jane, and favorite wine from Gamble Family Vineyards. (Editor's Note: Many thanks to Newport Beach Festival for allowing us to cover this year's fantastic event and Kimberly Luu.) The amazing lobster roll from Slapfish. Current Beauty Faves

Happy Friday! I'm obsessed with beauty products and wanted to share my current faves on my shelf. Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre - I first tried this from a Birchbox awhile back and love how this moisturizes my skin. It's perfect for winter when my skin tends to get dry. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum - I love adding this serum before moisturizer to address hyperpigmentation . I love the Vitamin C in it for that nice citrus smell too. Shiseido Perfect Cleansing Oil - I discovered this after reading about it on Allure. I'm a big fan of double cleansing and wanted to try a new oil to try. This cleansing oil is great because it really goes after eye and lip make up too. I love that it rinses off so well. May Coop Sauce - I have been fascinated by K-Beauty since it's trendy introduction in the United States. I bought this at Sephora on a whim and so glad I did. I use this essence after toner and before moistruizer. It ensures that the moisturizer is locked into your

green2Go Burgers Salads & Bowls

Last month, I had the opportunity to do a media tasting at green2Go Burgers Salads & Bowls in Brea. Founders Joulia Kallah and Anita Allison, built G2G with the intention for families to eat clean food made from fresh, organic and unprocessed ingredients. With a farm to table approach, meals are made-to-order and offer many gluten free, vegan, paleo, and dairy free options. Voted #1 best organic restaurant in Orange County, this unique restaurant is known for their meal prep protein bowls, beer and wine bar, healthy kids menu and food truck. I had the opportunity to try their fish taco, make your own bison burger, ahi poke appetizer, and organic roasted beet and avocado salad. Everything was presented so beautifully and with care. We definitely enjoyed our delicious lunch and can't wait to go back! If you're looking for a healthy restaurant to try, be sure to check out green2go in Brea!
