San Diego : Food Diary ft Civico 45, Extraordinary Desserts and Ebisu Sushi
Civico 45 in Little Italy is my favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego. For my birthday weekend last month, we ate here with the family. This place never disappoints. We started with ricotta filled blossoms. I got the capellini alla putanesca filled with shrimp , tomatoes and capers. So delicious! Another yummy dish at our table was the linguini alla pescatora with giant prawns and mussels. The carbs overload was definitely worth it!
A trip to San Diego is never complete without a visit to the world famous Extraordinary Desserts. Everything here is so pretty and delicious . I always have a hard time picking some treats. This time, I decided on the lemon bar and dulce de leche brownie (not pictured). What's your favorite dessert here?
A new discovery on our getaway last month was Ebisu Sushi. Everythiing we ordered was on point from the lemon & chili oil kanpachi sashimi, H Bomb specialty roll with spicy mayo and spicy tuna, Sixth Avenue specialty roll wrapped in cucumber, and salmon, tuna, and unagi sushi of course. This Hillcrest restaurant is cozy and inviting. I'll definitely have to visit here again!
